About me

Since then, I’ve qualified as a certified life coach and continued to build on my training in emotional resilience, mental wellbeing, and parental support. Today, I help people move through challenges such as parental burnout, identity loss, chronic stress, emotional overwhelm, and major life transitions.

My coaching style is grounded in empathy, honesty, and real-life experience. I don’t believe in quick fixes or toxic positivity. I believe in practical tools, nervous-system-aware support, and creating meaningful, lasting change that fits real life.

Alongside my work with parents, I also support organisations through corporate wellbeing programmes and workshops.

This work isn’t just something I do.

It’s something I live.

And I’m deeply passionate about helping parents and professionals feel empowered, supported, and hopeful again — even when life feels heavy.
I’m Gemma, a wellbeing coach specialising in parental wellbeing, burnout recovery, nervous system regulation, and workplace stress.
I know what it’s like to feel overwhelmed by your emotions, stuck in your thoughts, and completely lost.
As a single mum of three, I know how relentless parenting can feel. I use the same tools I teach every day — managing emotional overload, setting boundaries, rebuilding energy, and learning to be kinder to myself in the process.
When I separated from my partner of 11 years, I found myself struggling to rebuild my sense of self and navigate the emotional chaos of a major life transition. Working with a life coach during that time became a turning point. It helped me reconnect with who I was, gave me practical tools to move forward, and most importantly, inspired me to train as a life coach so I could support other parents and individuals facing similar struggles.

Before retraining as a coach, I spent over 25 years in management roles, leading teams and supporting staff through pressure, change, burnout, and high emotional demand. Seeing first-hand how stress impacts confidence, performance, relationships, and mental health shaped the way I now design wellbeing programmes for companies — human-centred, realistic, and focused on long-term sustainability, not just productivity.

My approach blends coaching, nervous system education, and creative techniques — including mindful crafting — to help busy minds slow down, release stress, and find moments of calm even in demanding lives.

When I’m not working one-to-one with clients, you’ll often find me out in the community running wellbeing workshops for mums and dads through the Mindful Parent Hub.

Why choose me?

Choosing the right support matters. I combine professional wellbeing coaching with real-life experience of burnout, parenting, leadership, and life change — so you’re not just heard, you’re truly understood.

With practical tools, nervous-system-aware support, and a calm, compassionate approach (including mindful creative techniques to help switch off), I help people and teams move from overwhelm to clarity and confidence. If you’re ready to feel steadier, supported, and more like yourself again, booking a session is a powerful first step.

My qualifications

I hold a Diploma in Counselling and CBT, as well as a Diploma in Life Coaching, with a focus on parental wellbeing, emotional resilience, and mental health support. I’m also a certified Mental Health First Aider, which allows me to support people through emotional challenges with compassion and confidence.
My journey started years ago with a degree in Business and Tourism, and although my path has evolved, one thing has remained constant — my natural ability to connect with people. Whether it’s been with guests, employees, friends, or fellow parents, building trust and creating space for honest conversation has always been one of my greatest strengths.
All of this — my life experience, my training, and my deep belief in the power of self-investment — comes together in the work I do now as a Wellbeing Coach.
